We chose to do 8fit HIT-style workouts for a reason. HIIT combines high-intensity intervals with rest periods or lower-intensity intervals (e.g., a 30-second sprint followed by a 30-second rest or 20-second burpees followed by a 10-second rest). This combination allows you to push your limits and achieve incredible results.
In our humble opinion, the great thing about HIIT is that there is no universal “correct” or “standard” speed, distance, or even intensity level; it all depends on you, your age, and your fitness thresholds. This means that HIIT can work for you no matter who you are or your fitness level.
