Cómo Quedó Estados Unidos Sub 17

cómo quedó estados unidos sub 17 Nov. 18, 2023, Jakarta, Indonesia — In their last group stage encounter of the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup, the U.S. U-17 Men’s Youth National Team lost 3-0 to France, securing their spot in the knockout phase. As a result, they finished second in Group E. The opening goal was scored in the closing seconds of the first half by Joan Tincres of France, following a strong defence stand by the United States. Les Bleus scored two goals in the dying minutes to put the game beyond reach, but the USA held strong for the whole of the second half as they looked for an equaliser.

On Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 3:30 a.m. ET (FS1, Telemundo platforms TBC), the USA will play Germany in the Round of 16.

For the majority of the first half, the American defence remained firm, weathering many risky French balls into the box. While goalkeeper Duran Ferree, making his first start of the tournament, made three saves on the night, centre backs Noahkai Banks and Stuart Hawkins were kept busy heading away and clearing dangerous crosses in.

Mohamed-Amine Bouchenna drove into the box and set up Tincres for a close-range strike in first-half stoppage time, giving Les Bleus the lead going into the locker room. This was the French team’s breakthrough.

Finn Jeltsch, a German defender, headed it off.

FRA – Joan Tincres (Amine-Mohamed Bouchenna), minute 45+1: Playing to Bouchenna right outside the left side of the box, Tidiane Diallo dribbled down the left side of the field. The striker manoeuvred in the direction of the goal, cutting a cross back two yards in front of the net, where Tincres was waiting to finish from close range, slipping past diving American custodian Duran Ferree. USA 0 FRA 1

Joan Tincres of FRA scored in the 82nd minute after Yoram Zague, operating on the right flank, produced a bouncing ball towards the penalty spot. The cross rebounded off a U.S. defender and found its way to Tincres, who was situated around the middle of the six. Before another defender could close in to claim his brace and score the game’s first goal, he swiftly handled the ball and unleashed a shot to the right side.
